Questions you may have

Here are some of the common questions we receive:

How much will it cost me to train?
You can pay as you train or there is the facility to pay a monthly subscription which will reduce the class costs- the more you train the cheaper the class. Please call for up to date prices.

How many times a week can I train?
You are welcome to train as often as you like, classes run on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday for children and adults.

Do I need insurance?
Yes, we recommend you purchase insurance - we offer official licenses which are needed before you grade.

What do I need to wear when I first start?
We recommend some light comfortable clothing such as jogging bottoms and a t-shirt/sweatshirt. Only proper indoor pumps, martial arts footwear or bare feet are allowed on the matted floor areas.

Will I need any equipment?                                                                                                                                                                                     We will provide all the equipment you need to start training however if you wish to purchase sparring equipment then speak to your instructor who will be happy to advise you

Where can I buy equipment from?                                                                                                                                                                        Your Instructor will be able to supply any equipment you need at

Am I too old/young to join a Martial Arts school?
We currently welcome new students from 14 upwards in adult classes and 5+ in the children’s class. There is no age limit to martial art training as students are encouraged to work to their own comfortable level of ability. It is our recommendation that you speak to your doctor prior to starting any fitness programme if you have any concerns.

We look forward to seeing you soon.
